Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain inventory and assist with ordering and supplier management
  • Collaborate on the development of new recipes and seasonal menus
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards, ensuring consistency
  • Help with menu cost and pricing
  • Managing food resources efficiently
  • Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Manage and run events and banquets
