As a Cook Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our residents and guests. You will assist in supervising kitchen staff, ensuring top-quality food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and sanitation. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, as shifts and days will vary based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • As a Cook Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our residents and guests
  • You will assist in supervising kitchen staff, ensuring top-quality food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and sanitation
  • This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, as shifts and days will vary based on operational needs
  • Lead, train, and supervise cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to uniform, appearance, cooking techniques, and safety protocols
  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality, consistency, and professional presentation
  • Monitor staff compliance with policies, including employee meals, breaks, time, and attendance
  • Maintain high sanitation standards, ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed
  • Assist in managing food ordering, inventory control, and kitchen organization
  • Support the Executive and Sous Chefs in menu rollouts, production planning, and service meetings
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, guests, and fellow team members

Qualifications

  • Two years of kitchen experience in a high-volume or upscale dining environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, guests, and team members
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Basic computer skills and experience with commercial kitchen equipment
